Studio Huitsin Nevada is a versatile recording studio located in the peaceful countryside of southern Finland. Neigboring are just mostly farmers. On the yard there are 18 sled dogs. So maybe this is typical Finland.
Inside the studio things are not so peacful and quiet. Here mostly dominates the hard pounding bass drum and screaming guitars. Many things have been done here. Ranging from some classical guitar to death metal, not to forget some techno, too.
Such bands like the Hndred Million Martians and the Harlots of Beyond have recorded their albums here.
A few words about myself.
I started as a sound man for a local company. then one day one band asked me to produce their record. The band was called Ok. Pony. The record even ended up to be on the play list for a radio station in New York for a week.
Then i started to think about having my own studio.
The next producer job was for a finish band called Wrum. They even had a chart hit here in finland.
No time for studio then. The company i worked for became the biggest in Finland, so there were tours with all kinds of acts. Also I started to work as the stage manager for big things like the Pori Jazz Festival.
But now the studio is here. Four bands ae currently recording material here for their upcoming records.
I also have my own ban for what i sing, play guitar and write songs, but that is a totally different story...OllyP.S. For those, who don't know 'Huitsin nevada' in finish means a place in the middle of nowhere :)
