Sol Brown

In the mid-late 90’s and at just 17, Sol Brown (aka, Lm,entry) started DJing at pubs and bars throughout the Southwest of England. Back then he was playing a mixture of US Garage, Disco House and early UKG (on the 4/4 side of things). Before long he was playing in a lot of the Southwest's big name clubs and supporting various artists from Sister Bliss, Trevor Nelson and Carl Cox to Brandon Block, Easygroove and Radio 1’s then The Dream Team. At the end of the 90’s Sol moved to London and started doing pirate radio as a Garage DJ before moving more towards House. Since then and with over 12 years live turntable experience, he has been lucky enough to have played in Spain, Ibiza and the Canaries whilst continuing to play at numerous bars, clubs, festivals, events etc in and around the UK. He was recently invited by Apple Mac (California) to play at one of their music day events. Sol Brown currently has a monthly residency for Soul Shaker at the infamous Cosies in Bristol, a monthly at Jay’s in Cheltenham, a monthly for Fresh in Aylesbury and a bi-monthly for Suger Beatz in North Devon.You can usually catch Sol playing “Underground Soulful House, with a rollin 4/4 garage style bassline”. He infuses this with New York/Chicago Jackin House and Quality uplifting vocals to create his own unique style. His passion is in the underground scene. He’s not one of those people who does it to get famous or be noticed.
