About Me
I’m a very down to earth person, honest, hard working. What you see is what you get. I love animals and nature and think we should do so much more to protect the environment and the earth.
I have 2 labrador retrievers, a black lab male, Zeus and a yellow lab female, Georgia.
I believe in alternative, natural, herbal and holistic practices whenever possible, and think that many of the traditional western doctors are too eager to write out prescriptions. I do believe that there can and should be a combination of both traditional and alternative medicine.
I think we use way too much pesticides and herbicides and are killing the earth and ourselves. We need to educate people about organic living. I don’t want my food coming from steroid and hormone injected animals and I don’t want toxic pesticides on my fruits and veggies. Take a moment and wonder why cancer has gone up so much.
Speaking of food, I am trying to go vegetarian. I love animals too much to have them killed for my food. Humans are not carnivores anyway.
My ultimate dream would be to live “off the gridâ€. That means using solar and wind energy and growing my own food. I believe that mainstream America is way too reliant on foreign oil and should really be pursuing alternative fuels and vehicles that use those fuels and making it affordable to the “common†person. America needs to start composting more and stop being such a wasteful society just because of convenience.
I believe that the “Pledge of Allegiance†should be said in every school, public or private. I believe that God and prayer should not be outlawed. Remember “one nation under God…..†I love the fact that people from other countries want to live in America, but they should do so legally and not expect special treatment just because they were not born here. Our country was founded on immigrants – but ones that embraced our way of life.
Things I love:
My dogs, animals in general, trees, fresh air, silence, the wind, a fresh summers rain, the smell of fresh cut grass, the smell of pine trees, lilacs, curling up with a good book, warm apple cider on a cold day, going to the farmer’s market, walking in the leaves.
Favorite season: Autumn

I would love to live in a log cabin at the foothills of the mountains in Colorado.
