Band Members: JAE LIFE BIO:From the streets of Chicago’s Westside, with a dream and music career that started in 1998. From 98 – 2001 jae was a solo Chicago artist. Hard at first but it became more easier and clearer throughout high school. More people started to recognize what was going on with the style and the music format he was trying to pursue.Between 2001 and 2003, in and out of local Chicago groups’ pursuing the same dream and goals, jae realized he was better off a solo artist. With the unique Chicago style of rap that jae would have he would get compared to other Chicago artistes like Bump J and Pheava but was soon break out of that circle he was so much put into and have a voice for himself.2004 jae life hooded up and connected with a local Chicago group/record label by the name of Baller Status Entertainment. With the support and the energy that baller status was giving off jae would soon become the face of Chicago that he was so determine to be. In the process of working on the solo project jae got a opportunity of a life time when he got invited to the Chicago idol in 2005 but come to find out there was just bad news down the road when he didn’t make it to the Chicago idol finals.3 years working on the jae life’s solo project 2008 was to be the year. Traveling down a long, hard road it all would be worth it. Along with Co. C.E.O. Nova, C.E.O. Ace Boogey and producer Jahari XL this would be the breaking in jump-starting the career.With the single ‘That Boy Nasty’ and the follow up single ‘ya dig’ it would be much easier to get in the position that jae life have been waiting to be in. with a lot more in stored there will be no way for this project not to making noise in the streets of Chicago and outside of Chicago. People say they put blood, sweat and tears into what they are doing, blood, sweat and tears and a little more went into this masterpiece. “Now ask your self after listening to the singles and the album, do I really sound like anybody else” says jae life.
