After nearly 18 months together THE REYS have decided to call it a day due to musical influences.
Ollie, Tom, Darren & Mark would like to thank everybody who came along to the shows to lend their support.
The boys leave behind a trail of quality tunes and blistering live performances.

Onwards & Upwards
Formed in the Summer of 2006 The Reys comprise, Oliver Carter (Vox/Guitars), Mark Godfrey (Lead Guitar), Thomas White (Bass Guitar) and Darren Trutt (Drums) and are based just north of London and have come together to create some of the most important British music of recent years.
Blending the gang mentality and the timeless melodies of The Stone Roses with tales of characters and places that the boys know, love and loathe in a way that hasn’t been this effective since The Jam’s “All Mod Cons†or Blur’s “Parklifeâ€.
In an incredibly short space of time The Reys have perfected the ability to pen three minute pop songs that feel contemporary but also have the traits of classic singles such as “There She Goesâ€, “She Bangs The Drums†and “There Is A Light That Never Goes Outâ€.
The Reys’ influences read like a list of the who’s who of music history and are there for all to see. Just by listening to their set list it’s obvious that the likes of The Beatles, The Stone Roses, Bob Dylan, The Libertines, The Jam and The Smiths are all present in The Reys’ CD collection, but scratch below the surface and you’ll discover that The La’s, The Only Ones, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground, Bob Marley and some of Motown’s legendary artists have also left a lasting impression on the way the band writes and performs.
Early live performances have left crowds demanding more; having sown the seed in the head of every listener that The Rey’s are not just here for now, but forever....tell your friends!
