Can't Talk. Drinking

About Me

Well, apart from being someone who likes a bit too much Parmesan on my pasta, I'm also a Producer and Writer, of sorts, for TV & Radio.
We've just finished the recordings of the second series of my Radio 4 sitcom, Clement Doesn't Live Here Anymore. My writing partner Marc Haynes and I had one Otto Von Bismarck of a time getting all the scripts done in time but it got a fantastic response from the audience and it goes out in May...
It stars comedy genius Steve Furst, the superb Amanda Abbington and one-man-viking-horde, Richard Ridings, as Clement. So, brace yourselves for a cavalcade of mid-morning Radio 4 laughs about a fat, northern ghost and his predilection for filthy pornography.
If it was any more lowbrow it would be a moustache.
Incidentally, here's a pictorial account of the last series' recordings...
I also have the occasional foray into songwriting, but bearing in mind my musical heroes are people like Nick Drake and Van Morrison, my own attempts always seem to fall a little short of their inspirational greatness! If only my heroes were total dogshit, like James Blunt, then maybe it wouldn't be so hard to measure up!
Click on the pic of me in the "Bear's Friends" compartment to have a listen. Feel free to tell me what you think, unless you hate it, in which case try and have a decent stab at lying.
Oh yes, and well done... we can all be pretty proud of ourselves for jacking into MySpace: The ultimate platform of truth, where we can tell the whole planet exactly what we think! Rock! They can't censor us, man. They can't hold back the burning truth that we were destined to hear! Incidentally, my top five crisp flavours are (in reverse order)...
5. Beef & Onion
4. Roast Chicken
3. Sweet Chili
2. Prawn Cocktail
1. Salt & Vinegar.
