The Gospel Of Judas was spawned in the bowels of Mottville, MI, a township of White Pigeon, MI in the spring of 2006, and currently resides in Constantine, MI. The Gospel Of Judas was originally a side project for members of other area metal bands (Sin Division, Lowborn, and Coat Hanger Abortion) to get together, have a good time and jam some metal. After a few initial line up changes the band found their footing. With Loenard3’s crushing riffs, Smitty’s narcissistic nuances, Jerky’s solid low end, Jamie’s ear piercing vocals, and Spanky’s fat pounding beats to round out the group, “The Gospel†found a sound that was all their own. Part Thrash, part Death Metal, part Old School Metal, part NuMetal, part… something different.
After only a couple of months together The Gospel Of Judas played their first gig in June of ’06 with a more than positive reception. Hailed as “The next great band out of the White Pigeon, Constantine, Three Rivers area†They soon gained a strong, loyal, and ever growing following. With a dominant work ethic “The Gospel†has played gigs in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. All while still hitting almost every small dive bar in-between with some of the best bands the area has to offer. The Gospel Of Judas released their first studio recording in the spring of ’07 selling out the first pressing within two weeks. The Gospel has been fetured on the radio multiple times including stations such as 103.9WRBR and 92.5WZUU. They have also had the opportunity to share the stage with national acts such as Type-O-Negative, performing in front of crowds of thousands, initiating pits as far as the eye could see.

With the recent addition of Ryan (also a former member of Lowborn with Jamie) on guitar, after Smitty had to quit because of personal issues, the bands dynamic has evolved into a new beast hungry for metal. All while never changing the familiar sound the fans have grown to love, but instead adding depth. Cranking out new quality material at a lightning pace The Gospel Of Judas is preparing to release their first full lenght EP on Hangman Records. Due to be released at the begining of summer, and titled "30 Pieces of Silver" it is promised to be a heavy hitting album full of fresh tracks guaranteed to turn heads and send chills up spines. The Gospel Of Judas will be supporting the release of "30 Pieces of Silver" with a Mid-West Mini Tour titled "7 Days of Sin". So look for The Gospel to pull the Judas Train into your town, jump up on your stage, and blow your mind.
