About Me

This past year has been a challenging one but I know it was all worth it. I can honestly say that every hard time that I've gone through has taught me something and made me a stronger woman. I have learned that I don't have to panic every time something goes bad. I've learned that my faith in God is very powerful and no one can ever make me question him and his word. I've learned that age has NOTHING to do with maturity. Maturity comes when a person is willing to take responsibility for their actions, takes care of their "needs" instead of their "wants" and truly applies their lessons learned to everyday life. I'm sure that there is more to it than that but that is my opinion.I'm turning 26 soon and realize that I still have a lot to learn. I don't claim to be perfect, to some people I may seem perfect but if you only knew...I am far from it. I do my best to stay true to myself but stay humble at the same time. I accept my flaws as apart of life and go on knowing that I can only take it one step at a time. So that's pretty much it, if you want to know more send me a message. My Interests

I like to model, run, play basketball, go out to eat, watch movies, go to the park and chill. I'll go anywhere as long as the atmosphere is fun and entertaining.

Music:

Gospel, and R&B. The DEY, Alicia Keys, Corinne Bailey Rae, Sara Barielles, John Legend, Canton Jones, the list goes on and on.

Movies:

I love love love Love and Basketball, then comes Brown Sugar, Madea's Family reunion, Dream Girls, Maid in Manhattan, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins and there's too many to name.

Television:

America's Next Top Model, Friends, ER, Grey's Anatomy and that's about it I don't get to watch TV that much.

Books:

The Bible, "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe

Heroes:

Jesus!! He died for me!! Do you know anyone else who would do that? My parents, my whole family; although we've faced trials and some family members strayed away, my family has held it together!!! No matter what I am faced with I know that my family will do any and everything to help me.
