3 (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai & John Petrucci) - Live in Tokyo - 2005Power lead guitars all the way, starting from John Petrucci's delivery of his solo cuts, "Glasgow Kiss" & "Damage Control", followed by Steve Vai's display of guitar pyrotechnics with his trademark " Audience Is Listening", "Building the Church" & "K'M-Pee-Du-Wee". Joe Satriani comes up with another inspired performance from him with improvised versions of " Up in Flames", "Searching" & "War". The 90-minutes DVD ends with the three guitarists jamming together for the finale, indulging in fretboard acrobatics while paying tribute to Jimi Hendrix's "Foxey Lady", ZZ Top's "La Grange" & Deep Purple's "Smoke on the water." What can I say? If only John Petrucci got to play 3 tracks like the other 2 G-s on this DVD! But, thoroughly enjoyable, nonetheless!
