Hey what's up - this is JOEL KRUEGER - I have been a BASSIST for over 32 years. I was born coincidentally on August 6,'66 in Southern California. I moved to Humboldt County (Northern Cal) at age 7. I started playing the stand up BASS at age 10 in the school orchestra and continued until I graduated HS. I have played in many bands as a electric bassist since age 13 and have always been a huge music fan. I will listen to anything however my favorite style of music has always been METAL - please see influences.At the height of my career I was fortunate enough to hook up with good friend FRANK HANNON of TESLA and played with him professionally for 10 years. During this time we made a couple of albums and were lucky enough to tour with JUDAS PRIEST, DEF LEPPARD and CINDERELLA. We opened for many famous bands like TED NUGENT, ALICE COOPER, MICHAEL SCHENKER, and many more...Needless to say it was way cool - We had killer tour buses and a couple hits on rock radio. It's been a while since then - the last time we toured was about 3 years ago with The Frank Hannon Band. Frank has since been extremely busy with Tesla and I'm happy to say they are doing really well.In the last few years I have been playing bass in various tribute bands - a killer tribute to IRON MAIDEN - awesome from S.F. called Children of the Damned. I've played in 3 METALLICA tribute bands: Little Metallica, Whiplash, and Damage Inc... I play in the best OZZY tribute - IZZY OZBORNE. I also have done killer Led Zeppelin tributes with Frank Hannon. I have played in BLACK SABBATH, AC/DC tributes and more.
