9 Milli Major is a fast paced, charismatic rapper from Edmonton, London; predominately Grime MC! He has released his debut mixtape, called Pray For Me, hosted by fellow Bloodline crew member Paper Pablo.

The opening song, “Rep The Set” is a classic grime anthem! With a street beat and aggressive, fast laced rhymes Major gives us a treat in this song. The next standout is the title track, Pray For Me. With a slightly more mellow beat, but Major doesn't calm his lyrics down, with yet more rapid fire vocals resulting in an infectious track. Then comes the interesting Street Life with an impressive beat from Skepta, using some nice guitar and piano effects. Major definitely rocks this instrumental, slowing down his lyrics slightly, but still faster than most other dudes out there on the grime circuit. The lyrics are definitely directed towards the street, referencing life on the council estates of the UK capital countless times, be it good or bad, Major infects you with the references! Following this great track comes 96 Bars; arguably the best track on the mixtape, using the well known JME beat from the song of the same name. Major really impresses with his incredible freestyle skills, if the cover of the CD didn't tell you this was freestyled you'd have no idea. This song really shows you that Major is a lyricist predominately! Destruction Derby is the next track to grab your attention. Both Major and grime legend Big H rock an incredible beat with intelligent lyrics with complex structure's from both artists! 9's Up is another banger in a mixtape full of them. Again a big beat that is a classic grime sound really suits Major's flow, but this time he brings along Cookie G, who is a talent waiting to be properly developed but definitely has skills, and also he has senior Bloodline member President T as a guest here, who always puts in a good performance. Following that is War Collabo, which is one of the strongest tracks. Major really stands out alongside greats in the game such as Big Narstie, Wretch 32 and Scorcher. All of these MCs compliment each others styles. And the minimalist production actually works here! Voices is another strong track which really sounds like Major was just letting loose in the booth. This track really conveys emotion well. Another song like this is the closer, No Choice. A great soulful beat, but still Major keeps it grimy.

Major has produced what could be a classic in the grime genre!
