Omar Days
aka Lil’ Man or O.Diddy or Omar X (*britt-Ish rapper/emcee)
Omar Days (born in Edmonton, North London) whose first given name “Omar†means ‘first son; long-lived; gifted speaker; flourishing; disciple and famous’ in Arabic is a member of brand spankin’ new UK hip hop collective TAOS (Taking Advantage of Sound).
Mr Days is an articulate and passionate young man who doesn't pull any punches. As an Edmonton resident and a well-respected individual amongst Edmonton's youth, he has first hand experience of the issues facing our young people today. Known for his blend of street and popular style, he is able to evoke vivid visual and aural imagery in a humorous manner. Omar can compose lyrics without the use of pen and paper (Wow)! He has been able to adapt well under any beat or producer and has been consistent in writing good quality lyrics and punch-lines, as well as using a sophisticated, unique, and adaptable flow.
Omar Days has endeavoured to establish himself in a wide variety of fields outside of his rapping career. Omar is a supporter of revolutionary principles, a prominent community activist, professional speaker, philanthropist, political philosopher, poet, protagonist, PR & AR executive, executive record producer, songwriter, arranger, actor, entertainer, entrepreneur, event organiser, clothing designer, playwright, storytelling genius, punch line specialist and the list goes on... He has also pursued an acting career from 1991, appearing in films, dramas, theatre shows and television commercials. Omar has the potential to become one of the most recognised charismatic figures in the UK.
Omar Days is President and CEO of Flip Dat Quick Recordings and Pay Days Entertainment, in addition he is a co-CEO of Bloodline Music Group(indie recording company). His business interests include hip-hop/grime act ‘Meridian Bloodline’ (he has just finished working with 9 Milli Major on his soon-to-be-released debut mixtape "Pray For Me", and is currently working with Big H on his "Street Crime UK" cd), and community organisation “IEGDC†(Independent Edmonton Green Development Committee) a community-based group of young people working towards ensuring that funds intended for the procurement and management of youth facilities are allocated accordingly and that young people are given a say as to how these facilities are used (basically the whole point is to raise awareness about the lack of youth facilities in the Edmonton area and to hold Enfield Council accountable for smuggling away thousands of pounds of funds that should have been spent on youth facilities).
