About me? Well it isn't much to say there's A LOT! I do it all, born and raised inHarlem. By 23, after achieving a great deal,I became an entrepreneur. I have taken my love for the arts and entertainment and been ableto capitalize from it. I am an A&R (yup I'm a voting Grammy member), actress,gemologist, producer, fashiondesigner (newbie),hoodlum, brat, spendaolic, and former child model. But mostly everyone knows me as DAITONA theA&R Consultant and Vixen of Harlem.I'm the daughter to a street legend and soon to be the successor of the struggle. It was all a dream, I used toread WORD UP magazine. But before that, I was in DOTS on 8th Ave dancing in my walker while my mother played Ms.PacMan after school. Born to two of the illest parents ever, it will never be a questionable fallacy to how Imanaged to stay on my toes and accomplish the things that I have. See entertainment wasn't a recreational activityfor me. Nor was it a way of escaping. Film, TV, Radio, Music, and Art was my life- it was the very elements thatflowed through my veins. My mother was a trained dancer and accomplished scholar. Yes, that's where I get myfinesse from. On the other side my father, the gist of Hip-Hop and Rap. Their generation is HIPHOP. At two, Ilearned to tag up from my father. He taught me that drawing is one of the most important things a child could do.It would help develop ones imagination expanding the possibilities of achieving success. From day one I was anS.T.A.R. (strong, talented, assertive and resourceful). I was taught to shine at everything I do.By grade school I was singing and dancing at local events and plays. But performing wasn't my only talent. I hadan hidden talent. Unlike other children in my community, I won citywide and national writing competitions. I wason the road to great academic success. Not only was I in the "gifted/ advanced" classes, I was also a studentleader. I held student office for several years. Yes me, oh my gosh I wish I had a picture. I was the most popularand loved geek you could imagine. Kind of like Urkel from Family Matters without the accidents and pranks. Butniggas knew!! Not only was I a prodigy, I was ya cheerleader, ball player and boxer. Yes, I played sports!!!!! Yagirl did it all back then and I will continue to take the world by storm. SHOUT OUTS TO EVERYONE WHO WENT TO PS200- CHEO DA DON, JAE MILLZ, Q, HOLLY, LESHAUN, etc. Anywho, in life u go through things and you get caught up.I'll just say I may be a cute looking chick to you but my Harlemnites know how I get down.
