J.SN aka Volker had his first encounter with drum & Bass in 1999. After his first parties in his hometown Nordhausen and some mixes from Dj Hype and Andy C he was addicted to the sound. Collecting records and DJing started after he moved to Leipzig in 2004.
A nice little record store for electronic music in the south of Leipzig called Freezone Records became his new home. Now he works there and cares about the D&B and Dubstep section since December 2005.
With the work in the store he found his passion for deep House and Techno beats, too. But he plays HipHop, Breaks and other Headz stuff in bars as well. You can listen to his radio show "Sunday Groove" on Radio Blau on every first Sunday in the month from 7 to 8 pm. Introducing new tunes and news about events and music in general are the core of the show.
J.SN also became a member of the Cuba Crew - one of the Drum&Bass crews in town. The crew promoted Palm Breaks events with d&b-artists from all over the world at a club called Distillery . Check the Cuba Crew MySpace for some old partypics. The crew splitted in the mid of 2007. Now he plays usually with his mate and neighbour Shape .
Since 2008 he joined forces with the funky Da Switch Crew .
