Nascent was formed late 2004 by Vincent Schenck (Eretsua) and Jeroen Visscher (Analogue Pagans). Later on in 2005 they would also work together on two other TreeG related projects, namely Hellmouth and Time & Tide.
During the last two years Nascent has been experimenting with various styles and directions and Tocsin, Nascent’s debut album is the result of these experiments.
Tocsin is a transparent wall of sound constructed out of multiple minutely changing layers. Tocsin plays tricks on your mind by letting you hear sounds that aren’t there.
