Toy Shop is a creative and entertaining band whose music combines elements if rock, jam, and lyrical pop. The band’s recordings and live shows are energetic and infectious, showcasing the quartet’s musical talent, driving grooves, and vocal harmony. "Get Up Now", produced by legendary producer Johnny Sandlin, is the premier release on Rockin' Camel Records .The Huntsville, Alabama based band was formed by British-born brothers, Antony and Andrew Sharpe, whose guitar and keyboard playing provide the template for Toy Shop’s unique sound. The powerful rhythm section of Jim Kolacek on drums and Matt Ross on bass complete the lineup with a feel that couples intense rhythms with mindful subtlety.The emphasis of the band’s set list lies within their own fresh and innovative original songs, and also includes covers spanning four decades from the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, Radiohead, Ben Folds Five, Phish, Neil Young, Peter Gabriel, and many others.Toy Shop has performed for area music festivals, such as Huntsville’s Big Spring Jam and Montgomery’s Jubilee.
