About Me

While the concept of blending reggae, Estonian folk tunes, and grindcore may sound like a tall order, it’s no stretch for the genre-crashing genius of Bobby Blount. Since 1953, he’s been creating what the Biblical Archaeology Review calls “anthems that simultaneously challenge the ear and unearth the depression that lies within all of us.” His performances have won him the respect and awe of countless musical legends that include Jim Nabors, the late G.G. Allin, and Sporty Spice, who once called Bobby “the only singer-songwriter that I like to listen to during intercourse.”
Twice the recipient of Auburn University’s “Tigers Against Terrorism” patriotism award, Bobby Blount allocates 28% of all profits from his performances and recordings to a group of charitable organizations that include the Retired Klansmen’s Klavern, the Anti-Braille League, the Society for Krishna Consciousness, Friends of Roy Moore, and the Campaign to Bring Arena Football to Birmingham.
Whether solo or with his supporting act, The Sideshow (a Sepultura cover band managed by Sandi Patti), Bobby Blount is a supernova waiting to engulf a stage near you ..n f..ery pass..on and operatic splendor. Check him out this summer, when he’ll be the supporting act for Bo Bice on his US tour!

I love playing music with different people, love playing different styles, hell I love playing different instruments. The Sideshow:
Donnie Cox - Guitar and vocals
Bobby Blount - Guitar and vocals
John Huffman - Bass
Rich Partain - Drums

The Carnaby Loafers: Beatles and British mod 60s stuff. Old Who, Small Faces and Kinks. The Kids are Alright. :)
Aaron Helton - Guitar/piano and vocals
Michael Kilpatrick - Drums and vocals
John Huffman - Bass
Bobby Blount - Guitar and vocals

Anyways, I have a few more things trying to come to light as well. In addition to trying to get my home studio to work for more than one month at at time so I can get some originals recorded. But a few other musicians I hope to have some solid projects with, some original, some covers, some playing actively, some, maybe a one time shot and then pack it in and go home. :DBut this is where you'll find all of my music info.
