This seasoned producer who hails from a town callled Mmabatho in the North West , has been in the Cape since 1997 when he came to study sound engineering at City Varsity. With the course behind him, Ghetto Child never looked back and jumped head first into the South African music industry. Itching to polish his skills and explore the extent of his musical inspiration and ability, he joined Mega Music in Johannesburg, starting at the bottom as a Rhodie/Sound technician. Over the past six years, his ear for good music and producing skills matured as he continued his 'musical apprenticeship' working as sound engineer and producer, working with the likes of Oom Alec Khauli, Thabiso Tsotetsi, Terry Pinana, Micheal Manintshana and Craig MacGahey, from Mama Dance producing remixes for the likes of KB, Jerusha, Andy local rap artist Mzchief. Ghetto has been producing a series of Pep tv Ads and Radio jingles he wrote the the Ackermans Winter and Summer campaign. In 2007 worked with Top Tanzania’s A list artist, Produced a full Album for the Zambian Cell tell Popstar , Ghetto is producing a full Album for Viola the Zambian Celltel Pop star search 2006 winner. Ghetto child has produced background music and the Signature tune Tv programs like Street Journal, Destination SA, Coca Cola Football stars and a Series about the SA Navy on Sabc1 called Divers Down.Since launching his independent label Slam! Productions in 2001, he has produced both professional and aspiring musicians, particularly from the Cape's townships, specialising in the kwaito hip hop and ragga music genre's from this Ghetto produced a full album for Blue African Skies that was released in 2004 and is currently producing their second Album.As if the music is not enough of a challenge GhettoChild still finds time to work as a professional Model. He has been working as model since 1998 and has archieved so much in the industry by working as lead character on international Tv commercials and Fashion catalogue Campains.
