My name is Bobtje Blues. Why? Because I just love the blues, that's why. You might say that I'm a late-developer but in fact I always liked good music. On day, I heard Muddy Waters singing Hoochie-Coochie Man, and that striked me like lightning. I live in Belgium, a small but very nice country with lots of people who love the blues. Who doesn't know the famous Belgian Rhythm & Blues Festival, just to name one? I noticed that there were few sites on the internet, dedicated to the blues the way I would have wanted. So, I made my own. This website was born on June 14, 2001. Now it has grown to a real reference for all bluesfans in Belgium and the Netherlands. I also get a lot of international attention from bluesfans, bands, artists, labels, you name it. A big part of the site is available in English also. So, what keeps me busy? Apart from updating the site & blog daily, I visit blues concerts & festivals, I do interviews, I do concert (and other) photography, you'll find it all on my site. Of course, I try to promote and help Belgian and Dutch bands and/or artists who are paving the road, hoping for some response. Through that site I hope I can be of service to all artists, bands and organisations, national and international etc. by making sure this unique and valuable culture stays in the picture. And that culture is the blues. To me, blues is a manner of expressing feelings, emotions that can run freely, human emotions from the depth of your soul. Often it is about painful feelings, emotions that wound and hurt. Digging into yourself, experience the pain from the depths of your soul, exposing yourself to all present emotions has got a healing power, the power of blues. This is how I experience blues. Be my friend, be a friend of the blues. Check it out on Bobtjes Blues Pages !Bobtje Get Your Own! | View SlideshowEPK submissions: Submit your materials online through Sonicbids! In the Delta II

It's nine o' clock in the morning, Paul shouts: "Good Morning Vietnam!", followed by an immense sound of slide guitar. Guess what, that woke me up. Paul wanted to have some fun and turned on the stere...
