♥ There are certain things I've experienced in life that have opened my eyes more so than others. I'm sad to say that most of these circumstances have happened more recently. Certain lessons in life are learned harder than others... too many tears. I classify myself as a "heart on my sleeve" soul and consequently, have been burned time & time again. Sometimes the heart wants what it wants and doesn't give a shit what your mind has to say about it. Live and learn to love again. Happiness, however elusive it may be, will find me.

♥ It seems that being phony is the new fad; one minute you're on top of the world, the next you're grabbing at the knife that's been shoved in your back. Being so jaded, I've been forced to learn the hard way that true friends are those there when everyone else is not... they always seem to elude me; I guess they're a dying breed. The friends I do have, I love . I have a girlfriend in North Carolina that I love more than most... she knows me more than I know myself. I've been known to be an emotional mess at times, but you'll never see it. To my fellow girls: stop sweating the small shit and dump him already! You deserve better and you know it. Most are still too young to grasp what's really important... hell, I haven't even figured it out yet. Although haven't hit 30, I've experienced more than most 40 year olds would ever want to. I live life to the fullest and never regret anything I do... usually.
