i'm just a girl who was going on about her chaotic ways until one day...wham! Music made its surprising, forceful entrance into my life and derailed all of the rigid tunnel visioned plans i had made for myself. Over the last seven years, i've come to see music as a powerful intervention that has been healing my soul. The funny thing is, i'm finding it heals those around me as well. i guess i don't make music; music makes me...or something profound like that.
i have big little dreams for music; really i just love to sing. Sure, maybe i aspire to tour the college curcuit someday, but in case that never comes to fruition, i ask,"can't a girl just sing for the heck of it?"
i have an aversion to mean people and to meaningless busy work. my favorite food groups include: Coffee, chocolate, and vegetables, especially roasted veggies. As far as music is concerned, i appreciate good lyrics and a soulful voice.
being an eternal graduate student with negative dollars and a dizzy full schedule, i play out when it is feasible, though i could be convinced to play more...Oh and if anyone wants to give me some money with NO strings attached, i will happily accept.
