gadjo dilo and kusturica's underground. the latest of pleasures.the movie that changed my life is"little vera", a russian, gritty and hard film, i watched in a theatre at the age of 14... and ran away from home, that being the ultimate rebelion against my home... ha ha ha, the film still stands out in my mind ... kundun, the 14th dalai lama, seen it 6 times, maya deren, tony gatlif's films,head on, almadovar's movies ( an amazing spanish director ) all of kusturica's movies. he is such a lovely barbarian. jean pirre jeunet films, hayo myazaky films: spirited away, nausica, howl's moving castle. leolo, the time of the gipsies, before the rain, cabaret balkan, black cat white cat, henry and june, the science of sleep, the red violin, train de vie, velvet goldmine, slam,transilvanya, exilles... ya, and kong foo movies(old and new) i wish i could remember all the beautiful films i've seen... this is a gut renching scene from one of the movies that changed my life.
