Dj Trilogy born Joel Alba Jan 5th 1981.....
I Grew up in Chicago Il. Logan Square to be exact. Always a huge lover of music
lucky enough to grow up with parents and family who beat the best funk, soul, jazz,
spanish, and the list goes on all i did was listen and appreciate the gift that was given.
With that knowledge being a dj gives me the oppertunity to give back and train ears.
I started spinning when i was 14 around 95. In Chicago i dont care if your the most
hip hop dj to heart your goin to get introduced to house. So i did spin alot of good
house and hip hop, there is a right and a wrong way to do both. Spinning house at
16 with Fast Eddie was nutts being the youngest dj in the A.O.U. crew and the
youngest dj in the TOP ROCK crew i gained alot of respect from the older djz.
Its hard to stay current and fresh in this game but i have managed to keep with the
times reinventing my style from time to time and stay practicing and steady working.
I have been a full time dj for almost 4 yrs now currently doin 6 nights a week at
chicagos hottest spots. Spinnning alongside djz i respect, djz like skor, twentys,
boy wonder, julian pena, john simmons, bear who?, newlife, ampm, shon dervis, norm
rockwell, itch 13,sin, shon rocka, gerald more, diz,hakim murphy, sho-time, dj moe,
just to name a few. I am currently a member of the BASSMENT BOYZ &
HOUSE ON THE BLVD dj teams look out summer 08, its goin to hurt
alot of feelings. I do rock serato the right way with TURNTABLES to all
you cdjz that dont know what it was like back in the day to dig for records trying
to find that gem, and lugging 2 or 3 bags and 2 crates through a crowded club.
Ive had my share of traveling with this game, spun in Texas, Florida, Mexico,
North carolina, Doin hot import nights for the past 5 years Pepsi stage, Boost
mobile stage and doin mini city tours with Coca Cola, also doin some events for Scion
I am 27 yrs old been spinning for 12 years and can never see myself stopping, You
