About Me

"someday"
i would love to sing “happy songs”,
but i write about the stuff around me.
it’s hard enough to tell it like it is,
and it’s hard to talk about what you can’t see.
don’t know if I could if things went well,
sometimes i think i get strength from misery
maybe i’ll rise renewed from the ashes,
it must be like Samson’s hair to me.
askin’ me to start singing and talking
‘bout warm & sunny days
it won’t be half as convincing
when you’re caught between a rock and a hard place
don’t feel like building a house of cards
when i know a big storm’s ahead
for all those livin’ way up there,
lookin’ down it’s so easily said
“come and give us a little song and dance”,
please why don’t you just give it a rest
won’t feel good to try and sell that play,
like a vegetarian butcher saying his meat is the best
so here is what i’ll do for you,
i’ll bring a song with a happy melody
but nonetheless the words and stories
are so much more important to me
If for some this music is too honest, real or too depressing,

"i guess some emotions are better to be sung out loud"
Thank you
