Todo comenzó por Abril del 2000, mas o menos, cuando dos amigos Jose y Chiti se habían quedado temporalmente sin grupo (tocaban en un grupo de Punk-Rock, "Kurtida") debido a sus inquietudes musicales, decidieron juntarse algunas tardes en el parque Colon de Majadahonda para tocar, con una guitarra española y un djembe por simple diversión. Willy, era un amigo del instituto, al que también le iba el rollo de la música y de hacer ruido, así que se unió a nosotros.Un día, un buen amigo, con gran esfuerzo y con mucha ilusión abría un local en Lavapies ( "el Local" C/Tres Peces, Lavapies (un poquito de publicidad jeje) me comentó que si queríamos tocar allí, algo que no podíamos rechazar, solo había un problema: había que formar un grupo, el nombre elegido fue PATXARANGA, ya que nuestra música aun no estaba definida, sonaba a pachangueo, mezclado con ilusión, patxaran y mucha fiesta, y los instrumentos fueron repartidos al azar jeje.Aquel concierto fue nuestro comienzo, fue muy divertido, todo el mundo participó de una u otra forma, sacamos instrumentos de sobra para que la gente se animara a participar y funcionó, la pena fue, los amig*s que se quedaron en la calle, debido al reducido tamaño de El Local.Continuamos, quedando en Colon, pero ya, se empezaba a oír la palabra ensayo, nos salieron algunos conciertos mas, y debido a que los colegas y algún que otro vecino empezaban a hartarse de escucharnos ensayar, decidimos trasladarnos al trastero de Willy ( desde aquí queremos dar las gracias a la familia de Willy por aguantarnos hasta el día de hoy, incluido Compay)Finalmente, otro buen amigo, Chus decidió incorporarse a nuestras filas para tocar el bajo ( muy bajo por cierto jeje) dándole el toca final a los patxa, y esto ya era otra cosa, sonábamos a grupo de verdad.Tanto fue así, que nos oyeron en el C.E.S ( centro de estudios de sonido) y nos propusieron grabar una maqueta en la sala Caracol, a lo que lógicamente accedimos con mucho gusto, y una mañana decidimos hacernos unas pellas y traernos a un par de colegas con nosotros (javi y abuelo) y mientras nosotros grabábamos estos se dedicaban a meter fichas jeje, bueno el caso es, que los hijos de puta del CES se quedaron o nos perdieron o yo que se... la maqueta.Hemos seguido tocando por ay, en algunos salas o pubs como: Caracol, La Sal, Avda 55, Malas Compañias, Ciao, Balcón de Rosales, Botellita, Barba Roja, etc... y pensamos seguir dando música y sabor haya donde se dejen y nos dejemos liarCONTINUARA...............All Began for April of the 2000, but or less, when two friends Jose and Chiti had remained temporarily without group, due to the expulsion of a member (they touched in a group of PUNK Rocker-Rock, "Kurtida") due to their musical anxieties, they decided to be joined some afternoons in the park Colon of Majadahonda to touch, with a Spanish guitar and a djembe by simple diversion.
