*And currently, I am finishing the screenplay with an award winning screenplay writers in Santa Barbara, CA.
I enjoy meeting creative writers, especially Marilyn Manson fans that like to write as much as I do.

I write about the history of Rock 'n' Roll. Many of my books have emphasized Marilyn Manson, who inspires a strong creative spark that my imagination responds to while traveling across the country doing computer work on the web. Thousands of interviews have taken place. Plus I have written under many names. Here are a few titles I finished below before the beginning of 2008.

Currently I am listening to Homer's Iliad by Robert Fagles and Buddhist Drums and Chants from the Japanese Temples of Kyoto where they were recorded.
I listen to a lot of audiobooks, especially while driving. Often I will find myself in a car for weeks. This inspired me while researching rock music along the Mississippi River's Blues Highway. I was listening to horror stories after leaving New Orleans where everyone shared an opinion about Marilyn Manson with me. Seriously, from bartenders at the Dungeon in New Orleans to Blues players on Beale Street, people wanted to discuss Manson and it created a certain energy that could only be expressed with a keyboard connected to a computer monitor.

Last Update To This Section, March 24, 2007, Saturday *Blogs Are Updated DailyLast night I fell asleep to Wedding Crashers. This week I watched Romeo is Bleeding, Immortal Beloved about Beethoven and It Happened One Night.I am a sucker for the classics, especially The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Goodbye Mr. Chips... Anything with Greer Garson, Lawrence Oliver, James Cagney or Rex Harrison.
Last Update To This Section, March 24, 2007, Saturday *Blogs Are Updated DailyNo, I can't watch TV and get any work done. It is possible with a film, but not TV with commercials and stuff. The other day I was eating dinner and turned the kitchen TV to Flavor Flav's VH-1 "I Love New York" episode and sat glued, amazed and a bit disgusted. This girl was fighting over these guys or vice versa. I am fan of Flavor Flav and Public Enemy changed the business at a time when people demanded an artist like Flav - In New York, Flavor has more power than the Mayor, especially in Brooklyn, NY. His history is cool. But this show was odd. Still I am writing about here. Something about it caught my attention. Shock, denial, self-destruction, this I Love New York girl made me wonder, "Is she real?" The experience was similar to swimming in a mountain stream by Bennett Peak in Sonoma County to Pink Floyd's The Wall album while on dim sum dumplings rolled with psychotic mushrooms. F*ck sushi when you can roll a fatty with dim sum.
Last Update To This Section, March 24, 2007, Saturday *Blogs Are Updated DailyFunny to mention books, I read so much that I have replaced Barnes and Borders with the library even if I have to fly out of the town and send the book back to be returned by mail.Last week I was into Dave Navarro, Vince Neil and researching Beatles Rickenbacker Guitars - Nearly every instrument used by the Beatles between 1963 adn 1964. Found some weird stuff out about President Kennedy and the Beatles... it's making for some good chapters at work. At work, someone wanted me to edit some Matthew Stover stuff on Sith, Stover wrote Revenge of the Sith based on George Lucas' story. Plus, I have to research Merlin Holland's transcripts on the real trial of Oscar Wilde, what really happened in the courts April 3-5, 1895 between Oscar Wilde vs. The Marguess of Queensberry, but by the bed.I guess that is pretty disturbing...Last night I couldn't sleep. Woke up at 1am, then 5am, I didn't want to watch TV, so I picked up a trial tale near my legal journals, Polly Nelson's account called "Defending the Devil, My Story as Ted Bundy's Last Lawyer". I couldn't put it down. Even after getting tired, I kept my eyes open to skim the chapters. It is not great like Pushkin or poetic the way Lord Byron might present the case, but Polly Nelson was there with the beast, defending him and it made me wonder about my work with the Marilyn Manson Murders, made we wonder what I often ask, "What am I doing? How did it get into writing these mystery thrillers? What the f*ck was I thinking when I began to travel and scribble this stuff?"Journalism is often surreal, because the truth is disturbing. My truth, what I have uncovered, often has me washing myself under a shower three times a day. Water is the only way to clear my head of the stuff, which is why I finally moved into a house with three showers where I can hide and find escape. What we read is as psychological as what we listen to - Not that I have to remind readers of that - It sounds obvious enough - But then again, why do people listen to Manson?WHY DO PEOPLE LISTEN TO MARILYN MANSON?Three book later... Still trying to figure that out. The closer I get to understanding Manson's music, the more disturbing people get.
Last Update To This Section, March 24, 2007, Saturday *Blogs Are Updated DailyArt Nussbaum, my mother, my father, my brothers. In the past, I would have said something like Tolstoy, Pasternak, Nabokov, Turgenev, Bulgakov, Twain, Hemingway, but since then - living in Prague with no TV only books - I have become quite a musician - Now I enjoy stories about Sammy Davis Jr, James Brown and Ray Charles.Trials are bring me back to lawyers who defend cases like The State of Tennessee v. John T. Scopes, Brown vs Board of Education and attorneys that fight for the U.S. Constitution, especially our Freedom of Speech.Last summer I was at Larry Flynt Publications. As you know, Larry Claxton Flynt, Jr. is the head of Hustler magazine. Larry Flynt went to the AVN Awards this January 2007 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and made a great appeal to First Ammendment Lawyers. I wish I could find it. Larry Flynt accepted a Special Achievement Award from AVN publisher Paul Fishbein. The following speech was extremely emotional. He moved the audience by emphasizing Free Speech, The U.S. Constitution and U.S. Bill of Rights with all the distaction going on in the world. This speech had as much to do with Rock n Roll as the Sex Industry. It had to do with trade, distribution, business and war.So who are my heroes? The warriors that stand beside me ready to fight for the right of what I also believe in. Ignorance is becoming all too common. Stupidity is starting to spread. Editors have warned me. They want me to carry a gun. Death threats are becoming all to common when you write about rebellion, anarchist and disorder.. Welcome to my WORLD?
