Musician & performer

About Me

I was born in the middle of caotic and magic Mexico city. Arts was definetely my way to follow, going from Contemporary Dance to Vissual Arts and finally Music. Performance art became the natural way to unify the old and new. Fire, Stilts, Costume design came from traveling and psychedelic "underground" culture. In 2001 during my University time in Sofia, Bulgaria, I created "KUXAN SUUM, arte en movimiento" as a group dedicated to explore and gather different artistic disciplines. That was fun! My studies in music started as a flutists in Western Classical Music, although back in my mind I always knew improvisation was really my call... So parallely to my sonatas and classical pieces, I keept on playing in different sort of electronic and fussion proyects mainly with "Band of Mad Women", "Vataff Project", "Samodelia" and "Disham" in Bulgaria. The biggest turning point on my musical path, came after meeting my Guruji Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia two years back, and here I am... in the middle of a new adventure at the Rotterdamse Conservatorium under his kind and endlessly inspiring guidence, dedicating myself entirely to explore Hindustani Classical Music through the ecoing sounds of the Bansuri...
