Born in the Bronx, raised in Oakland, and residing in Woodstock. My professional career began when I graduated from Castlemont High School and auditioned for the group The Timex Social Club back in 19 something or another.That was an incredible journey for me to be able to work with the Social Club and sing Rumors everywhere in the states and also be able to watch Def Jam blow up and become Hip Hops biggest rap label.Through the years I have opened up for and performed with a lot of beautiful people from The SOS Band and The Time to E 40 and Tony Toni Tone, LL Cool J, Run DMC, The Beastie Boyz, Whoodini, Doug E Fresh, Eric B and Rakim etc etc etc. Working with The Timex Social Club changed my life, but then I went on to work with groups like Kenya Gruv (Top of The World/Menace II Society Soundtrack), the late J.Spencer and realized my true calling as a songwriter as well as a performer.I have also through the years had the pleasure of writing, singing and producing music with and for legends like George Duke, Dionne Warwick, Najee, Toni Tony Tone, David Frank (from the system), the late Jermain Stewart and many many more.God has been good to me and life aint treating me bad either, but time has taught me that if you dont tell people who you are, then no one will know who you are.Aside from writing, singing, producing and arranging, I have also had the pleasure of working with new artists to develope their craft and gain airplay for their music through various independent labels.I have worked my but off on the stage, behind the stage and on the phones, internet and business to business to make possible for myself and the people I work with a reality spawned by dreams of success and fulfillments in life and career.Truthfully, I dont like to brag about the platinum and gold plaques I have earned through my works over the years that I dont even have in my possession. Nor do I talk about the famous people I have met and worked with and the millionaires I know, but I do love to talk about the people who come up to me or call me to tell me where they were or what they were doing in life when they heard a song I wrote or sang.Thats why I do what I do.Its not for the attention or the accolades...Its the feelings from the real people who feel me.My name is Fred Busby....Thats what my momma named me.I also go by Buz.Thats what the people and my friends named me.Who am I really?Gods child.Of course this is not my real bio....Its just a piece of my soul.You need some soul?Hollar at me......
