About Me

Cheese is yummy.Skiing is fun (Mammoth~Aspen~Tahoe). UCLA Bruin 4 Life. I love me some good beer. Yachting in the South of France. Playing my Nintendo DS. Selling coconut carvings on the side of the road in Hana, Maui. Riding my bike in the Venice hood. Music always. Never boring. Rarely serious. Laugh frequently. Cry occasionally, only when boys break my heart. Have you got tickets to my gun show?

My Interests

Skiing in the winter, swimming in the ocean in the summer, indoor cycling (I’m kind of a freak about it), sailing, sleeping, going to live music shows, watching movies, anything that involves being in or on the Pacific Ocean, and traveling. I'm a huge Laker, Dodger, and UCLA Bruin fan... been all three since birth, it's in my family's blood, Grandma doesn't miss a game.

I'd like to meet:

Your dog, cat or pet iguana. I also extend this invitation to viewings of your aquatic fish tanks.

Music:

What's currently on my Ipod: Liars -the best band ever known to man! I'm not just saying that cause i'm related to the drummer, and he mentioned that they wern't listed in this section. Kasabian, The Notorious B.I.G: Ready to Die, Keane, The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Brazilian Girls, Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Jet, Johnny Cash, Kings of Leon, Pixies, Radiohead, The Strokes, Tom Jones, Fugazi, Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers.

Movies:

Field of Dreams, there is something about baseball, cornfields, and James Earl Jones that makes me cry every time! Anything Tarantino has ever touched. Foreign films in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (just cause I can sort of understand them without reading the subtitles)... City of God & Central Station being my all time favs. Anything Scorsese ever touched – besides Shark Tale. Love Actually - sorry, can't get enough of the Brits. Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi. Can't bring myself to watch the new ones... Indiana Jones Trilogy. El Mariachi, Desperado, I can do without Once Upon a Time in Mexico, except for the Johnny Depp Part. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and last but not least Boogie Nights

Television:

Anything involving men in uniforms, a ball, and sometimes a puck. The Shield, Greys Anatomy, and Sports Center. I'm really not a big fan of the tele.

Books:

Poems by W.B. Yeats:I know that I shall meet my fate Somewhere among the clouds above; Those that I fight I do not hate, Those that I guard I do not love; My country is Kiltartan Cross, My countrymen Kiltartan's poor, No likely end could bring them loss Or leave them happier than before. Nor law, nor duty bade me fight, Nor public men, nor cheering crowds, A lonely impulse of delight Drove to this tumult in the clouds; I balanced all, brought all to mind, The years to come seemed waste of breath, A waste of breath the years behind In balance with this life, this death.

Heroes:

My mommy and daddy. The greatest Golden Retriever Ever, Jake Gross. The IT department at Treyarch - Rose, Robert and Nick.

My Blog

Things to do when you get to Heaven:

Dear Grandma,   I'm sure over the years we talked about this, perhaps over dinner at Factors or while watching a Laker or Dodger game, but I wanted to remind you of all the things you need to do ...
