I wish we could be more dramatic about this than we are -- but we are five guys from Southern California that share a love for music, have been playing rock and roll for awhile, and decided to get together and record an album of our originals that we feel are really, really good and should be out there for people to listen to and enjoy. Then we take everything from there.
I (Jon) met Shawn and Kelly about two years ago, and we've been jamming and writing music ever since. We have compiled several new originals during that time. Stephen was the lead singer in a band I was formerly in (Mudflaps) and is a great crooner with a soulful, raspy voice that, once you hear him sing, leaves no doubt about how well he can get a song across to the audience. Sheldon has been on the scene in the Bay Area and SoCal for years, and has done numerous session work and been in many bands.
One last thing, this project, outside of mastering, will be done completely in-house. We are using Shawn's recording equipment, and we are self-engineering, self-editing, self-mixing and self-producing the album. Keep checking back as we will start updating this site with progress reports on the record, technical/equipment information, blogs about things currently going on in music, photos of the sessions, and some tracks premptively being put up on the site unannounced here or there to guage interest from the fanbase. So keep a look out!
