I'll walk my own path, thank you.

About Me

I edited my profile at LayoutSource.net , check out these Myspace Layouts
There's not much to say about me. I'm a regular person with a regular, boring life that involves working, eating and sleeping. I'm known to be an extreme recluse, so if I go out anywhere, I tend to have a very good reason.

My Interests

Cartoons; human nature; having personality (the good kind) and meeting others who have it; black comedy/dark humour; cooking; baking (want some of my cookies or brownies?); werid creations; a new found fascination with pineapple; Bill Hicks; photography (despite using primative equipment); Great Britain & Ireland; British, Irish and American history; pen-pals; coffee, tea, a great steak; pubs (in Britain and Ireland) Guinness; Boddingtons; Belhaven; Murphy's; coffee; cafes; extended, detailed conversations; natural beauty; style; substance; learning somthing new every day, peace in Northern Ireland...and so on.

I'd like to meet:

Flesh and blood human beings.

Music:

No shitty shit here. Not necessarily because they're new bands, but because they are just shit. Here goes...Pink Floyd (especially the guitar-heavy Animals), Led Zeppelin, Tool, Ministry, Danzig, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Pantera, The Who (original lineup only), Pitchshifter, The Cure, Frank Zappa, Black Label Society, Depeche Mode, White Zombie, Deftones, Prick, Van Halen, Alice In Chains, Rammstein, Rollins Band, Slayer, Arsis, Black Flag, Monster Magnet, Megadeth, Cocteau Twins, Jimi Hendrix, Buckethead, Syd Barrett, Barry Adamson, Aphex Twin, Guns N' Roses, U2 (mainly their '80s albums), Motorhead, Down, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Days of the New, Radiohead, Queen, Faith No More, Bad Company, Joe Satriani, David Bowie, Iggy Pop...basically a collection of musical speedballs.

Movies:

I tend to stay away from most of today's crap -- that goes especially for horror films. I think it's mostly disposable shit. But, hey, to each its own. So, here goes:The Wall, The Killer, Hard Boiled, Bullet In The Head, Susperia, Opera, Scarlet Diva, Monty Python & The Holy Grail, Time Bandits, Brazil, 12 Monkeys, Swimming Pool, Serial Mom, Lost Highway, Blue Velvet, Mullholland Drive, Back to the Future, Tommy, Alien, Aliens, The Abyss, The Terminator, Terminator 2, Heat, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Snatch, Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, From Dusk Till Dawn, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill (Volumes 1 & 2), House Of 1,000 Corpses, Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Army Of Darkness, Darkman, Seven, Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Sin City, Apocalypse Now, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Boondock Saints, Bubba Ho-Tep, most James Bond films, Run Lola Run, Shaun of the Dead, Bloody Sunday.

Television:

Not much mainstream, I'll tell you that.

Books:

I'll pick anything up as long as it doesn't predominately involve romance, religion or horror.

Heroes:

There's ya a hero. Now, feck off.

Rock Star Sighting

Last night in downtown Norfolk, I asked Sean Kinney, the drummer for Alice in Chains, if he could break a couple bucks for me. I knew it was him, but I didn't say anything until, "Hope you kick some a...

It's been nearly a month since I last shaved.  Now people are starting to tell me I look like Jesus Christ.  Should I take that as a compliment?

Loners, Guns and The Media

I rarely talk about news in my blog, but I should take a moment to point out something: Being a loner doesn't make a guy pick up a gun and kill people. Simply having access to weapons and having a pla...
