Love one another, but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow…But if you fear you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure, Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing –floor, Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not use all of your laughter , and weep, but not use all of your tears.Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed; For love is sufficient unto love. When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” But rather, “I am in the heart of God.” And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, If it finds you worthy, directs your course.Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself. But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To know the pain of too much tenderness. To be wounded by your own understanding of love; And to bleed willingly and joyfully. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving; To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstacy; To return home at eventide with gratitude; And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips. -Kahil Gibran-

My Interests

~Bed of nails~

"I've given you all there is of me and all of our best laid plans at a glance seem like us but it was never in our hands

Well its always been the same for me You twist my heart until I no longer bleed

Chorus
I tried I failed on this bed of nails impaled to be this time afraid of breaking down

You've taken all there is of me and all of our best laid plans at a glance seemed like us but it was never in our hands

Well its always been the same for me You twist my heart until I no longer bleed"

Because sometimes a song just says exactly what it's supposed to.

PICTURES OF SURFACE TENSION AND TEAM AT THE KISW HOLIDAY HANGOVER BALL 12-1-06...

Surface Tension’s recording debut “Consciously Clones” marks the band’s first full-length CD, produced and engineered by Martin Feveyear of Jupiter Studios. Track two “Bed of Nails” is featured on 99.9 F.M., KISW’s “Harder, Faster, Louder” Vol. 4 compilation. Track six “Start Over” is featured on 102.5 F.M., KZOK’s “Write a Bleepin’ Song” compilation. Material from the CD is also responsible for winning first place in KISW’s B.J. Shea’s American Idiot Contest, a showcase featuring what they consider to be Seattle’s top bands.

“Consciously Clones” produces a provocative cocktail, a disciplined approach to big guitar sound. The CD surges and swells in symbiotic unison with its percussive counterparts, giving host to high-powered rhythms and dynamic phrasing. There is an inherent inner balance of cynicism and hope that scores the thematic undercurrent of the CD, an expedition into and back out of ourselves.

Songs like “Locust,” “Piece by Piece,” “My War,” and “Start Over” all share the same possibility. The outcome is up to us. A voyage into both the light and dark side of the human experience, “Consciously Clones” takes us to the frontlines of some of our biggest problems and asks us to search inwardly for the answers.

The Top Ten Reasons Why You Can't Trust Vicious Pit Bulls

10. They will steal your spot on the couch while you are up getting a soda.
9. They will take the treat you give them and bury in the back yard like a paranoid crack head hiding their stash.
8. They will jump on your bed with muddy feet. Making you do laundry...again
7. They will lick visitors with an uncontrolled passion only they understand.
6. They will cause children to smile.
5. They will make you feel horrible for not walking them by looking at you with deep sad eyes.
4. They will look at you like you committed a crime against them if you don't let them lick your ice cream bowl.
3. They will cause wide spread happiness in large group settings.
2. They will crack you up by shaking their butts so hard you think they are going to snap in half.
And the number one reason why you can't trust vicious Pit Bulls...

1. They will steal your heart like a thief in the night, showing you complete and pure love that only a Pit Bull can show.
