I'm trying to balance myself as the ground slips from under me. Don't worry. I refuse to fall!

My Interests

Dedication To My Mother And Father: She loved him the first day she saw him walking down the hall, Standing mighty and tall, He stood there with dark skin and a strong build, And when he saw her his heart was filled, She walked by swaying her hips and licking her lips, And then she stood there with long straight hair and skin ivory and fair. Oh, you want me to take it back, Okay, replay: She loved him the first day she saw him walking down the hall, Standing mighty and tall, He stood there with dark skin and a strong build, And when he saw her his heart was filled, She walked by swaying her hips and licking her lips, And then she stood there with long straight hair and skin ivory and fair. Once again take it back? How about I tell you what you really want to know, Yeah, he was black, True she was white, Oh, you was shocked because in you book that isn’t right, Well, I’m the one writing this poem, So be prepared to enter my zone: Now, they walked hand and hand, Vanilla and chocolate: his woman her man, See bout them everybody cared, Because wherever they went they got whispers and stares, But you see they remained strong, Because they knew they was right and the rest of the world was wrong, Besides when the lights went out they were both the same color, It was all about her loving him and him loving her, Then there was the birth of the most beautiful little girl you could ever see, Oh, by the way, the pretty little girl was me, Little Miss Caramel, Right from heaven above I fell, I’ve been called everything from a mutt to this that and the “other”, But what I am is a full mulatto, I’m not more white then I am black nor more black then I am white, I’m 50/50 in my sight, You can keep that one drop rule with you ignorant fools, Look at this world kaleidoscopic, So how dare you try to categorize it? For anybody that thinks my parents were wrong, Know that in this world I belong, Through any type of adversity I’ll remain strong, So stop singing those prejudice songs.
