I get prosaic when I have to and speak plainly most times cuz I WANT to…

Whether I sell copies or not…
I dream, think, pray, fight, sleep, and FUKK music…

Ya kno…I wuz having a discussion wit some ppl and…
Don’t ask cuz you don’t really wanna kno….so they were tellin me about all dese hot rappers… Who’s tha best, whos not…or which poet I should read up on and consider learnin from soooo…
They were all talkin and dey really didn’t care about me cuz while dere talkin I’m jus like…

But that he died wit so much more to do…
Some risk dying homeless before dere even heard….like Picasso…
And countless otha greats….no money makin end meet greats…
That we NEVER hear about…
Emcees that could lyrically eat Biggie or Tupac…
Poets that can put Nikki Giovanni to shame…
And dancers better den….well, tha best dancers…

What I’m sayin is….tha purpose of me writing dis poem or inner monologue down is…

Respect who you walk by….common ppl dressed in Khakis….Durags…
Or tha homeless…cuz he may be tha greatest at what he does….and this bullshit machine dictating
