...i was 12 years old when i first got in contact with hiphop music. my cousin had copyed me tony touchs "50 mcs" mixtape. the sound of the beats and flows had infected my brain. i collected all the albums of the artist on this tape. my collection of tapes, cds and records got bigger and bigger and so did my knowledge about hiphop. going to school i would listen to my walkman every day, i soon started checking out other elements of hiphop. never started poppin and lockin, but got caught in the game of taggin. one morning before school my mothers flat got bomb rushed by the police, looking for spray cans and blackbooks, i was only 17. by that age i had started freestyling and wrighting my own lyrics. hiphop had changed my whole life, posetive and negative. my passion for it remained and got stronger. on my jeounrney i have met allot of people doing hiphop, -i live it and -love it, because it has saved me many, many times... sinceres philosophy: i see Hip hop and music in general as the promised land that Dr. Martin Luther King once spoke about.
