I grew up in Ft. Worth, graduated from Texas A&M in 2000, and spent my first 5 years out of school working at various YMCA camps. I taught outdoor education, directed summer resident camp, and managed a challenge course. In August 2005 I left my camping career, which was bittersweet.I then worked as a Group Sales Manager at Stockyards Station, where I booked wedding receptions, class reunions, company parties, etc.The best day of my life was October 22, 2005 when I married Nathan. He's perfect for me, which was hard to find!I had major back surgery in July 2006; the year-long revovery has been very tough. It took nearly 2 years until I started to feel "like my old self".Now Nathan and I live in Phoenix, Arizona; I'm in grad school at ASU studying Higher Education/Student Affairs. It's a fun adventure, but we miss Funkytown!
