If I could find the spot where truth echos, I would stand there and whisper memories of my children’s future. I would let their future dwell in my past so that I might live a brighter now. . . I am an artist- I have an innate need and love to express myself through painting, designing, dancing, and most recently, writing. I feel blessed that I earn my living this way, especially in a city full of people who share my passion. I am an energetic and restless Virgo; I love to learn new things, I love to travel, and I love to meet interesting people. I'm just striving to be the best version of myself possible so my son has a great role model to follow.... . . I am a work in progress/defender of youth and the environment (sometimes)/lover of my people and my culture/vessel for the work of my ancestors and parents/dancer/artist/i am Black Enterprise/son/father/brother /friend/uncle/warrior/freedom fighter/carnavor/sneaker whore/purveyor of good times and making others happy. . . As a child, my favorite past time was drawing my own comics while being on punishment for the millionth time. I've touched soil in every great city in our nation (even though I'm a homebody). I'm wildly silly and intensely serious, dangerously impulsive and overly analytical. I own a ridiculous amount of suede sneakers, and I sport em with panache. I read voraciously and the right music slays me. I am a firm believer in mutual worship. . .Given a big enough square, I can construct run-on sentences like nobody's business. I mean, this isn't really a good example because I'm mostly answering this one in short phrases, since that can deliver more of a punch, you know, and I'm trying to keep things to the point, not go off on some irrelevant tangent and then you think I have, like, attentional issues, and maybe need to be on some kind of cognition-altering medication, which there is nothing wrong with, of course, if it works for you, but I'd really rather just give it up to my own non-sequetorial experience and, oh, I ended a phrase with a preposition back there. Shit. sigh . . Lyn Whitfield once kissed me on the lips (Black Enterprise Golf and Tennis Challenge highlight). When watching a great movie, I can't distinguish (emotionally) between fiction and reality. Dancing and art is two of my greatest passions (although I don't require the same of my significant other). I'm a considerate parallel parker but will secretly give you the finger. Absurd little micromoments of connection with cashiers, co-workers, and homeless guys make it all worthwhile. . . My desires are too numerous for this silly little square: I want to study elephants in Africa, bust a freestyle on summerstage, and live on a houseboat, and operate on human brains, watch my son grow to beat me in Madden and do the runnin man in the rain Paris.
