Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she started her career as a DJ in 1999, and has since maintained a continuous process of musical exploration. On her frequent travels between America and Europe she absorbs elements of different styles, which can be found reflected in her work as a DJ and her musical productions.
A pioneer of Electro and Minimal in Venezuela, DJANE GG’s influences lie in New Wave, Electro Clash, Break Beats, Reggae, Dub, Trip Hop, Brazilian Beats, Latin Jazz, Drum & Bass and Techno. Presently, she plays Minimal, Minimal Tech, Electro and Tech House. Her taste in music is extremely diverse and her set very colourful.
During the last years she has performed in countries like Venezuela, Holland, Columbis, England, Ecuador, Spain and Germany, including one of Europes most prestigious festivals, the Sziget Festival 2006 in Budapest, Hungary.
She has lived and worked in Caracas and London, and is currently living in Berlin, neuralgic centre of electronic music, where she is working on her latest productions.
