The Long Tomorrow is a rock band from Atlanta that was formed by songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Rich Gunderlock in 2005. The band is now reborn with new material and a new stylistic direction. Featuring the soaring vocals of Tripp Prince, the new EP "What I Don't Deserve" features melodic indie rock with pop hooks and thought-provoking lyrics.
Tripp is now back from the far east so be looking for The Long Tomorrow on a stage near you! We're working on some new recordings (including a Jump cover!) so be sure to check back soon to hear them.
The name The Long Tomorrow comes from a quote by Christian theologian A.W. Tozer and is a reference to the afterlife. It was also mentioned in Randy Alcorn's amazing novel Safely Home .
We recorded "What I Don't Deserve" in September 2006 with producer Steve Cook of Ugg Records . Tripp sang the lead vocals and Rich played all the instrumental parts. It was mixed by Dove Award-winning producer Masaki Liu and mastered by Luke Fellingham of Phatfish. The cover art is by James Lytle . We're so honored to have all of these talented people working with us!
