Hannah Bethel

Hey, my name is Hannah and I am a singer/songwriter. The arts have always been my passion. I worship music; writing it, listening to it, making it. I love it. First and foremost I am a singer. I can't even remember when I started, I just always have. I've been taking lessons for almost 8 years. I try to soak in everything that I can learn; classical, country, broadway, soul, eeeverything. I love it. Playing guitar is another output for my creative desires. I started playing about 4 years ago. I enjoy writing and playing my own music as opposed to that of others. It means so much more. I've been writing music just about as long as I've been playing guitar. The two just went hand in hand for me. One without the other seemed unatural. And that is how all of this began. I've always known that I wanted to perform. I started partaking in musical theatre and dance classes when I was very young. Instantly, I fell in love with it. Everything just crescendoed from there. We had great drama and dance programs where I spent the first part of my childhood. But then we moved. I was so convinced that it was the end of my world. I was certain that my path of music and bliss ended there. But of course, being only 13, I was wrong. On the contrary, things only got better. That's when I picked up guitar and started writing. I became involved with a local country show that serves as a fundraiser for the music programs of local schools. I began performing at other venues, as many as I could. And I recorded my first CD. By far that has been the biggest accomplishment of my life. After I had a collection of my own, original music, I thought, why not? What have I got to lose? Haha, absolutely nothing. But I have everything to gain. My CD is entitled "Watch Me Fly". It consists of 11 of my original songs. It's just me and my guitar. I did all the vocal and guitar work and I wrote all the music and lyrics. It was professionally mastered and replicated at Disk Makers. I haven't been in this alone, my mom is the backbone of this entire project. She's my manager, my booking agent, my shrink, haha, everything. I couldn't have done any of this without her. Not in a million years. So that is my story, up until now. I plan on pursuing my dream until I achieve it. Simple as that. No questions asked. I've got alot more pages to fill, so I'll keep you posted. As far as my personal life, well, everything I said above pretty much takes up my whole life, haha.
