First of all we like to thank all the people at gigs, the drivers the made it possible to reach our destination (on time), the hospitality of hosts at gigs, the labels that brought out our stuff and all the people that helped us out otherwise.
After 12 years on the road, Disturbance had it’s ups and downs. Shit happens. We know. But sometimes shit happens more frequently and the whole is suffering because of it. So now we have some bad news: Trough personal frustrations we will be calling it quits for a while. It isn’t said that Disturbance is truly, completely and unmistakeably dead, but it is for sure we are comatosed for now. It’s a strange idea we won’t be playing any gigs for a long while, especially the ones that were planned, and we are very sorry for all the gigs we had to cancel. So all apologies for the people who organised or counted on them…
We are going to miss you all. We really hope that you all won’t forget about us, and that we will meet again in the future…

Allereerst willen we iedereen ongelofelijk bedanken: Alle punks bij onze shows, de chauffeurs die het mogelijk maakten om (op tijd) te kunnen spelen, de gastvrijheid van alle organistoren, de labels die onze herrie uit hebben gebracht en alle anderen die ons op vele manieren hebben geholpen.
Tijdens de 12 jaar onderweg, heeft Disturbance z’n up and downs wel gehad. Frustraties zijn er soms nu eenmaal. Soms gebeurt dit echter wat vaker dan goed is voor een band, namelijk wanneer alles er omheen hierdoor beïnvloed word. Nu dus wat slecht nieuws: We stoppen er voorlopig mee. Daarmee is niet gezegd dat Disturbance voorgoed op de schop gaat, dood is, of met knallende ruzie uit elkaar is. We zijn in de aankomende tijd echter niet meer actief. Voor ons is het een vreemd idee niet meer te spelen, en ook de geplande optredens niet meer te doen. Onze excuses gaan dan ook uit aan iedereen die deze optredens georganiseerd hebben en aan naar iedereen die ons wilde zien.
We zullen jullie missen. We hopen dat jullie ons ook niet zullen vergeten, en dat we elkaar in de toekomst weer zullen zien…
