Oh, and just so you know, there's no such thing as "God." We're all alone; but connected to everyone and everything in odd and mysterious ways. Life may mean suffering and happiness, and death is just a new chapter in the scripture of our existence.
Religion is just a distraction, false hope, and meaningless search for what's not there. I feel sorry for those who donate their lives to such a belief, it's just like being a spokesman for the Tooth Fairy, or Santa Claus. Death, the fear of death, and the search for the meaning of life is the prime source of religion. Once everyone wakes up and smells the smelling salt, our world can focus on the world and not pray for some ominous entity to come and save us. Religion has plagued the world with more dreamers and less do-ers. Now we're facing a man-made mass extinction because of the neglect to fix what's wrong and simply ask the sky for a solution. Up until today, countless wars have been waged throughout our existence for the validation of one's religion, and currently more people are obsessed with "God" than keeping the world a possible home for future life. Religion is both figuratively and literally destroying our Earth and life as we know it, slowly but surely.
Think about it; if every church spent their sunday mornings picking up trash, watering gardens, or planting trees, this world will be looking greener by next week.
