Hoopla!

Can you feel our voodoo?

About Me

Hoopla! hypnotise with fafisa keys, bass guitar, drums, thunder, love and lyric. We are women getting heavy with heartfulls of sad-dog songs, exciting times, and love-warning.Those who come along say they want to belong - to be sucked into the simplicity and the pretty, roughed up by bass distortion, and urged to howl like they want to.Hoopla! have songs on two compilation albums: Slave Recordings' "Dawn of a Grey Winter", and Dodgy Records' "Sounds from the Swamp". They are soon to release an EP, for the love and style of vinyl and an album through Stink Magnetic in early 2007. They get witchy at parties in Patea, the Pohangina Valley and have had wicked gigs with Cortina, Pro Drag, the Shocking Pinks, the High Plain Drifters, The Chandeliers, The Mysterious Tapeman, The Livids, and the Bing Turkby Ensemble and more! They can give it if you can take it.
