Formed in 2005 by two ex-members of Bestrayer (Pascal Labrecque and Jason Hauver) who wanted to stop playing punk rock music and try to change their influences for hardcore music, Your Paradise Has Failed officially started when Jean-Philippe Bruneau and Nicolas La Haye joined the band in September 2005. One month later, one of their friends (xBenjaminx) told them that he wanted to join the band. They accepted without any doubts and played together from October 2005 to January 2006. It's at this time that xBenjaminx decided to leave the band to become the singer of xWings Of Sorrowx. He found them another bassist to replace him (Jean-Philippe Bachand), then left the band. In October 2006, YPHF changed their singer for personnal reasons. The new singer of the band is xBenjaminx who was playing bass with them a year before. On February 28th 2007, Jean-Philippe Bruneau left the band but he came back on June 24th 2007.
