Tim Garrison; the very recognizable voice to radio listeners, major musicians and artist around the country. For 17 plus years, Tim’s silky, baritone voice has flowed the airways in some of the nation’s largest markets, including Dallas, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. His stylishly smooth baritone voice has given him top ratings everywhere he has worked. In the Dallas market, his versatility excelled in several different formats such as the Urban AC with V-100 and The Touch with ABC Radio Network, a long 6½ year stint with Smooth Jazz 107.5 the Oasis and the AC format with the New 103-7 LITE-FM (KVIL). Versatility was one of the gifts he developed with direction from his speech teacher in college. Tim stated “I grew up in a city called Lynwood in Southern California. A speech teacher asked me, what were my endeavors? I replied, well, being a fan of Stevie Wonder, I was gonna work for his station and be the best personality at KJLH in Los Angeles ever had”. He told me “That's a great dream but don’t limit yourself and learn to speak correctly because God has given you a great set of pipes!” Since that time, Tim has been committed to using his gift to “soothe” the lives of his listeners and fans as they lay back and enjoy the smooth ride that his voice takes them on.Tim’s experiences have allowed him to interview artist such as Al Jarreau, the late Roger Troutman, Silk, Howard Hewitt, EnVogue, Dave Koz, Boney James and Wayman Tisdale just to name a few. Tim is also a devoted community leader whose dedication and continuous efforts significantly impact his favorite non-profit organizations, including the American Diabetes Association and the Nation Kidney Foundation of North Texas where he is a spokesman.
