It's not about being weak enough to need someone, it's about having the strenghth to let them in.

About Me

I am a very busy person between being a self-employed handyman, doing live music photography in the evenings and working on my own old house it leaves little time for my many intrests. But in my free time I enjoy playing video games, watching movies or T.V., hiking, camping, road trips, hanging out with friends, going disc golfing or bowling, fleamarkets and yard sales. Always looking to have a good time, while there's good times to be had.I'm basically into anything creative or artistic and I try to gather friends who feel the same way and that I love and respect. I'm not easily impressed so I usually look for talent, honesty, inteligence, and personality in friends, if you don't have most of these qualities in abundance I will have little time for you, sorry but my time is very valuable to me it's the one thing I know will run out of someday. Politically I am middle of the road, the closest fit as far as a party is libertarian and I vote as such. I am pro-choice, pro-gun, I am for tax reform, and complete restructuring of welfare, disability and all other social programs to bring them under one roof and making people earn their benifits in some way relative to their abilities (No Free Rides), I also believe in socialized medicine, I also think that we should take more of a hands off approach as it comes to interfering in other countries affairs we only make things worse and waste lives, and americans are ignorant when it comes to history thats why we think we are right most of the time but in actuality we break treaties and back leaders that later become enemies, i.e. Saddam and Osama. I am an admirer of the Swiss because of their neutrality and liberal banking laws, we need to take notes from them. I am big on the founding fathers especially Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, because I believe in the way America was supposed to be not the imperialist state that it currently is. I am for alternative energy sources such as ethanol, hydrogen, hydroelectric, solar energy and wind power. We need to stop the greed that is destroying our enviornment, and stop sending money to the oil barrons in middle east because they get rich with little benefit to the masses of those countries who live in relative poverty. I am a very spiritual person but I beleive that all religions are fabrications to fool the masses and seperate them from their money and use them for political gain. I think that most religions start with a good idea, and all have valuable lessons to teach, but truth is not fact and religion tends to promote division and not unity. I think that philosophy is much more valuable then religion because life and morality are fluid and not concrete and unmovable. Personally I believe that if there is something to be called god it would be the universe, an all encompasing energy that everything is a part of, matter, energy and spirit are all one and the same and can't be destroyed only changed from one form to another. I believe that there is an afterlife but I don't believe in heaven or hell, I believe that we return to the universal energy and to the ones we love who have already passed over. For this reason I think that it is important to spread as much love as possible because it is the only reward in this life and the next, and regret is the only hell so we need to live harmoniously with others because we never get even for the wrong that we do to others, unlike Christianity we can't clean our slate only learn from our mistakes. Personally I don't really care what others believe but I do judge on how well they practice what they preach, I can't stand hypocracy, religious fanaticism, and the disrespect of trying to impose your religion on others. I believe that it is important to take a cosmic perspective on life and realize how small and insignificant we are to gain insight on what is really important in life and not to waste time on the petty things in life that only serve to hinder our spiritual growth and happiness. I love animals most of the time more than humans, but I am not a vegetarian as most people assume, I appreciate their honesty and unconditional love, but I am big into Darwinism and realize that some things must die so that others can eat a fat juicy steak. I have respect for all living things and I don't believe in killing things without purpose and I believe that you should use as much as possible of the things you kill whether it is a tree or an animal. Wastefulness is wrong we need to conserve our natural resources and recycle or reuse all that we can and promote forward thinking along these lines. More later as I have time.
