!!XiXgon International!! One of the baddest juggling and clashing sound systems to come out of the beautiful islands of trinidad and tobago. XiXgon Sound System have juggled their way up to the top by pleasing crowds and burying any sounds that stand in their way.The original five members of XiXgon are
Yves(Chinee),Ben, David,Clarke,& Keegan. All the members of XiXgon are from Trinidad and started spinning around 1999. Only recently have they turned to the international market and have had the pleasure to dj and clash in Canada,New York,England, all up the caribbean islands, and Guyana. XiXgon has travelled a rough road to make it to the top because of certain crowds that do not judge on talent but rather fan support of other sound systems. In 2000-2004 Xixgon had the pleasure of spinning alongside Sounds like Mighty Crown,Killamanjaro,Bass Odessy,King Addies,Moziah Gold Star,Radioactive,Matsimilla,Sel Construction,Jugglers,X-Calibur,Detrimental,Red Alert,Coppershot, Zion Lion, Associate Degree, Black Chariot, Lion King,Judah Int'l and many many more.XiXgon also became one of the top young sounds in Trinidad by winning one of the biggest clashes in Trinidad. !Fully Loaded!That night, Mighty Crown and Bass Oddessy also clashed. Mighty Crown won by playing ridiculous amounts of Jah Cure, Sizzla...etc Dubs. Sammy-T & Simon had the crowd going wild.In Mighty Crowns hotel room, XiXgon got to talk to their idols and learn some tricks of the trade and also make some big links. Mighty Crown was one of the reasons XiXgon decided to start cutting dubplates and told them one day they wish they would be able to clash them. They glady accepted and said whenever they were ready.(Just a little personal note I had to put in)Which is not going to be for a long time, hahaha.XiXgon used to dj in Club Coconuts, Base, Pier 1, Platinum, MOBS 2, and many other popular night clubs in Trinidad. Those being the top clubs at the time.XiXgon has made many friends along their travels and are excited to continue being the ultimate crowd pleaser. Though enemies have been made, they have been dealt with the only way a dj should deal with trouble, in a clash of dubplates.Currently in Florida, Keegan is ready to mash up any party,anytime,anywhere. Bringing back the way music should be played for the party goers who wanna let loose and take in the vibes.Be it wine to soca, dance off to some dancehall or rock back to some conscious, doing it all. Jason has recently joined the team, and adds hi own skill on the tables while Keegan handles the mic for him. Together, no one in the dance can stand still.While Clarke,Yves,& Ben are in Canada taking over.The fan support is only getting larger. Throwing parties and packing out the venue, XiXgon family in Canada are showing the country what reggae and soca is all about.David,Karey,&(Girma)Slug are keeping XiXgon big in Trinidad and showing Dj's how the masters do it. David being the one of the early members has really done a good job of keeping XiXgon alive and making sure that we are all still around.The future only holds bigger and better things for the young group and one day their dream will come true and they will be able to be in the biggest clash of them all..
