" GUNS IN ABUNDANCE, SOMEBODY CALL THE AMBULANCE."(lyrics from the featured song)Daniel Bless ( Daniel Damnacey pronounced DAMASI) always knew that reggae music was his calling from the tender age of 14 while listening to the musical genious of artistes such as Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Sizzla and others too numerous to mention.Hailing from the city of St. Joseph, Daniel Bless attended St. Joseph Government School and later went on to Mt. Hope Junior Secondary and then the "Green Machine" St. Augustine Senior Secondary School. In addition to balancing his school work and chores at home, Daniel could always be found in groups where "chant outs" were poplular that is to say where young persons his age would try to out do each other with lyrical wit and humour, the winner receiving bragging rights and popularity. The second of three children, Daniel would always stay up at night penning lyrics to paper creating his vibe while his parents thought he was asleep. He was captivated by Rastafarian culture while attending secondary school and not long after completing CXC Examinations joined the faith promoting positivity and salvation for one's soul through his musical talents. He would often reflect on the earlier days singing on the corner with close bretherens and had his first break on popular "Party Time" talent show, singing with Kevin Baker (now a popular Disc Jockey and Radio Personality better known as the Five Star General with 94.1fm). After years of trials and errors within the music industry Daniel became wiser and perfected his art bringing him to where he is today with his Biggest Hits yet " Guns in Abundance " and "Know Yourself," which are both currently receiving alot of airplay in the local circuit as well as wider Caribbean, Europe and the United States. His aim as he would say is to bring communities together through looking out for one another, brother helping sister, parents teaching the youths right from wrong and youths respecting elders. "We need to fix the wrong within society and it starts with love following the teachings of the most high Jah Rastafari." He hopes to further make an impact in the music industry reaching as many people as possible with his music spreading the goodness and mercy of the ever loving, ever faithful, ever living Jah Rastafari! Peace Love & Prosperity.
