I'd say my interests are probably very common. I like to do the usual kind of things to pass my time, such as checking out new albums, going to gigs/ concerts, and the cinema. I like training at the gym, actually that's a fib, i force myself to regularly train at the gym!! I like to get lost in a good book occassionaly, and of course i enjoy hanging out with friends and family, well i'm more selective with the family part..i'm only joking of course!!
I'd like to meet:
This is always a tricky question because the people most would like to meet, i imagine, are those icons and hereos that are long gone to a place full of rainbows, man-size marshmellows and electric guitars. Well that's my perception of heaven anyway!! So if i could bend the rules i would like to travel through time meeting a medely of famous artists, philosophers, historians, scientists, musicians and actors whilst being smart enough to find out whether Adam was the first man on Earth! Presently however, i'm unsure if i would like to meet certain people i admire as i would be toatally gutted if they turned out out to be complete and utter a**eholes! So i guess i'm quite happy of the images they portray. Although, lets be honest, if i actually had the opportunity to meet a hero of mine of course i'd grab it with both hands!!!! lol

Music:
My interests in music are broad. I generally tend to listen to a lot of mainstream alternative rock/indie such as Kasabian, Muse, Radiohead, Beck, Massive attack, Morcheeba, Oasis, The killers, White stripes, P J Harvey, Hardfi, The Cure etc. I'm also keen on a few dance and hip-hop tracks, and definately love the occassional chilled out track by the likes of zero 7, elbow & moby. I love Jimmi Hendrix, Janis joplin, Bob Marley and..well i can't quite think at the moment, but i would say my tastes can be quite eclectic as i'm not much of a music snob, but just like a tune with a good melody!!..and sometimes a good bassline!!!! Oh and how could i forget u can't stop me 'turnin the lightbulbs' to a bangin' Bhangra track!!
Movies:
When i think of my favourite films i tend to reflect back to my childhood and remember the 'videos' (how retro!!) i used to watch over and over again like Rocky, Jaws, the Godfathers, Thelma & Louise, When Harry met Sally, The Goodfellers, Stand by me, Groundhog day, Con air. Okay, this is when it gets a little less impressive! Dirty dancing, Back to the future, The Karate Kid, The Goonies, The wizard of oz, Preety in pink, the breakfast club etc. More recent films i love are Adam Sandler movies, the odd tarantino movie such as Kill Bill and Pulp fiction of course! I tend to like Hugh Grant movies such as About a boy, Love actually, Four weddings & Bridget Jones, and i like the odd psychological thriller such as the infamous Silence of the Lambs, and the occassional quicky dramas like Side-ways & Donnie Darko.
Television:
Favourite TV for me, i have to confess tend to lie with reality TV. Maybe my preference reflects the immoral sadist in me! But i'm not shy to admit i'd prefer to watch a season of Big brother than a one-sided, negative stereotype influencing documentary any day! Other favourite progs include Lost, Desperate housewives, re-runs of the Office, Only fools, red dwarf, little Britain etc. And, the new series of Extras is great!
Books:
A good book, like with films i feel take me right back from my childhood years loving ALL Roald Dhal books and enjoying classics such as Oliver, Marmalade atkins and The lion, the witch and the wardrobe. 'Are you there God, it's me Margaret' was one of my all time favourite reads as a young teen going through the same changes as the girl in the book. Some of my favourite books include Memoirs of a Geisha, The color purple, The Lovely Bones, Animal farm, Sense & sensibility, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Of mice and men & Cider with rose.
Heroes:
Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Jimmi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Alice Walker, Roald Dhal, Dylan Thomas, Ted Hughes, The Bronte sisters, William Shakespeare, George Orwell, Karl Marx, Jesus!
