Jacob Calderon was born in Bakersfield, California. At the age of 15, he moved to El Paso Texas. One day while visiting a friend, he noticed a guitar leaning against the wall and was instantly intrigued. Once he began to play, his love of music was born. Though times were tough, his passion to play superceded all of life’s ups and downs. Through his many travels, from Texas, to Arizona, and eventually back to California, he has managed to form a loyal fan base. He has become a local in California, playing venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe, The House of Blues, Club Aura, Coffee Depot, The Vault, The Boiler Room, Redlands Market night, Omaha Jacks, and various private shows. Always in pursuit of excellence, Jacob strives to produce original pieces that strike a chord in the hearts of music lovers. His musical influences range from Rhythm and Blues to Hard Rock. His style has been compared to the likes of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, and Dave Matthews to name a few. Though he is honored to be compared to such incredible artists, he strives to maintain his own originality.
